About Me

My photo
Chef Moree
I sold health insurance when I was younger and decided I needed to follow what I loved. I packed my life into 3 suitcases and headed to Italy for a month. Then, I moved to San Francisco to attend the California Culinary Academy. It was an amazing year learning from great chefs and I was fortunate to return to Italy to work for 3 months at the luxurious Palazzo Sasso Hotel. I ended up back in San Francisco working at an upscale Italian restaurant named Acquerello. In 2005, I moved back to Greenville and worked as the Executive Sous Chef at the Commerce Club for nearly 3 years. I am entering my 4th year at ACTC, and I am thankful for the high level of interest in culinary arts from the students. I strive to challenge my students with new and exciting trends in the culinary industry, and I believe they can ALL be successful with a little effort and hard work.
