What motivates you to buy certain products over others? Describe some effective marketing tactics that have appealed to you and motivated you to buy a product.
When I'm buying a product over another, I consider price factors, aesthetics, and the product quality. Marketing tactics that appeal to me are things like sales, colors, and how the business/workers try to appeal to me and satisfy my questions or needs.
Every time I go to a store, they always have free samples. If i like the food I try, then I will consider buying that product. A sample can change what you think about that food, for example i went to a store and they were handing out samples of fried Talapia. I typically hate fish but when i tried the sample, it was delicious, so i convinced my mom to buy it. As they say, you wont know if you like it if you don't try it.
When i'm buying a product, I look at the price, how good it looks, and how much food is available. Marketing tactics that appeal to me are size, color, and discounts.
I buy products based on quality and price. It also depends on what im buying, if it is something like food I usually buy what is cheapest. But when buying cleaning products I typically chose the best brand. I like advertisements that include a lot of useful information, sales and companies that donate a portion of money to charity when you buy one of there products.
The reason i think i buy products over other is that I'm promised that the better product is at a higher price, and that it will either work, taste ect better then the other. They also increase and improve the appearance so that customer will think it a better product too. The actually quality of product will also effect my decision that is if i have bought that product before.
Usually I buy certain products because I have used them before or my friends recommend them. Certain advertising strategies will get my attention, such as actors and actresses I like that are representing that product. Also if there's a good deal on the product then I will be more motivated to buy it, such as buy one get one free or 50% off.
Well there are many things that motivate you to by a product over another. One reason is that maybe one product is way cheaper than the other. Another, reason would be maybe a product is more effective than the other or it is of a better quality. But one of the biggest things that motivate is knowing which item is the most cost effective for example which item will produce the most for its price.
When buying certain products the things that motivates me are certainly the price, the quality, and if the "ratings" (or word if mouth) is positive or negative. If I had to make a choice between two products I think the largest thing that would matter to me out of those three things it would have to be which has the best quality and ratings, now if I was faced with a situation where the three things were pretty much the same things I would have to try both and see which one would be best with the situation in which they would be used for. Some of the marketing tactics that appeal most to me is, well put together advertising commercial, flyers, billboards, ect, and also the tactics where you get certain discounts for doing certain things or having things like "bilo bonus cards" or "ingles advantage card" tactics like these is what appeals to me.
Advertising greatly influences whether or not I buy a product. It has to appeal to me both visually and emotionally. I weigh the pros and cons before I purchase an item. Stores that offer extra incentives help me to make a decision. BOGO is one effective marketing tactic which retailers extend to the public to persuade them to come into their establishments. Quality, price, and reviews are key factors to think of when considering an item to buy.
Well the number one would be what the product could do for me, is it going to benefit me through purchasing it or after I purchase it is it going to sit in a corner and accumulate dust? the look of the product or the wrapper is the second reason I would buy something. If it is appealing to the eye you are more drawn into that product over a plain wrapper or appearance. Price is probably the very last thing I would look at, but it is also a deal breaker.
When buying a product I look at the price, and the quality of the item. Most products that retailers sell are multiples of the same product just at different prices under different brands. You can go to BI-LO to buy green beans and get the off brand beans for two dollars cheaper, or buy the brand name product and have them being the same green beans. Most different brands of products come from the same supplier, they just price there product higher because customers think that's its better quality when its really not
